Catarina Moura (b. Lisbon, 1995) is a Portuguese-Brazilian visual artist based in London and Lisbon. Her practice is hearted on the healing of “othered” animal bodies and their constraining histories. Her works are manifestations of care and nurture for life’s transience and interdependence.
Moura completed her Bachelors Honours Degree in Fine Art at UAL: Wimbledon College of Art (First, 2021), following a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at UAL: Central Saint Martins (Merit, 2015).
Catarina has exhibited across Europe: in London, Lisbon, Berlin and Paris. Recent show locations include: The Copeland Gallery, Hartslane Gallery, Duplex Air, The Old Baths, Basement.Berlin, Wimbledon College of Arts and Anderson Contemporary.
In 2019, the artist received the first prize of the Prunella Clough Award.
