Pedro do Vale was born on April 17, 1990, in Ourém.  

He graduated in Drawing from FBAUL (Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon).
 

His work is centered on portraits, pursuing an accentuation of expressions through the light/shadow contrast, particularly when it comes to exploring the details of the unique aspects of the human face.
