A oficina propõe um projecto híbrido de criação de marionetas, em que cada criança será responsável por desenhar e montar a sua própria marioneta auto-retrato desidentificada.
A partir dessas novas personagens, montarão juntes uma narrativa que será filmada num mini estúdio de tela-verde com fundo infinito. Uma curta-metragem será posteriormente apresentada na conclusão da atividade.
"Espécies invisíveis" dá a experimentar técnicas de teletransporta de marionetas, propondo uma experiência que atravessa o físico, o virtual e o emocional.

ABOUT THE SPACE
Located at Rua Angelina Vidal, in Graça (Lisbon), the Duplex | Artists in Residence occupies a space of about 600m2, which houses studios for artists who develop their work there permanently and studios for artists in residence who attend the programs launched throughout the year.
At the entrance of the space resides the Superbotânica Lab, a project that works independently of Duplex | Artists in Residence.
The 1st floor houses 10 studios with dimensions between 15m2 and 22m2, open to a common area shared by the artists. It also has an equipped kitchennette for internal use and a terrace of about 50m.
At the 2nd floor there is an exhibition area that includes a screening room, and multiple niches keeps in their original state and a workshop for residences, with access to a second outdoor area.
The space that has been welcoming us since October 2019 has been closed for over a decade. In a privileged area of central Lisbon, what today is Duplex | Artists in Residence has long been a store / factory for furniture and kitchens.
