STUDIOS

DUPLEX offers 10 studio spaces for rent assigned only to visual artists with active and relevant practice in the contemporary panorama.
​
Its distribution is designed to enhance the dialogue and collaboration between artists that decide to mantaine their production site at DUPLEX. Each studio is delimited by 3 walls. and open to a comum center.
​
The center of the space consists of a common area for work and rest, surrounded by studios with dimensions between 15m2 and 22m2.
​
A small kitchenette (equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine) supports the daily life of the space, as well as a sink for washing materials, a terrace measuring about 50m2, and a small wood workshop and storage for leftover materials .

Access to the lease of the studios is done by application constituted by PORTFOLIO + CV to be sent to hello@duplexair.com

Space expenses are included. The contract will be for one year, and may be terminated in advance.

WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO SEND A PORTFOLIO/CV?

DUPLEX seeks to support a community of professional artists, productive and willing to establish a partnerships and a relation of proximity with the program and purposes of this platform.
​
To that end, it is essential that we find a plan of expectations compatible for both parts that focus essentially on a shared vision of what current artistic production is and how it should be thought and lived.
